Institute of Science Tokyo (Science Tokyo) is a national university in Tokyo formed on October 1, 2024 by the merger of Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), Japan's leading university of science and engineering, and Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU). It combines science, engineering, medicine and dentistry and ranks 4th in Japan and 97th in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2027.
Science and engineering are taught on the Ookayama, Yokohama (Suzukakedai) and Tamachi campuses; medicine, dentistry and health care sciences on the Yushima and Surugadai campuses and the Konodai campus. Most bachelor's programs are taught in Japanese, but international students can study fully in English in the Global Scientists and Engineers Program (GSEP) and in the International Graduate Program (IGP), which has run since 2007 with no Japanese language requirement.

Science Tokyo international students can receive Japanese government and JASSO scholarships, and IGP students can defer or be exempted from tuition.
