International students may live in university dormitories, mainly located in Zhongguanyuan Global Village, which is close to the main campus of Peking University. Dormitory places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The accommodation fee usually ranges from approximately 180–220 RMB per person per day, depending on the room type.
Students may also choose to rent apartments off campus. The average monthly rent near the university is about 2500–5000 RMB, depending on the location and housing conditions.
