South China University of Technology has three campuses: Wushan Campus, University Town Campus, and Guangzhou International Campus. A university shuttle bus operates between the campuses, making transportation more convenient for students. For international students, accommodation is provided only on the International Campus. In general, international students are accommodated in quad rooms, while students supported by a Chinese Government Scholarship are usually arranged in twin rooms. The university also states that accommodation is not available for students of Chinese language programs, so participants in language programs must arrange off-campus housing by themselves in advance.
SCUT is one of the largest technological universities in southern China and has a modern and well-developed campus environment. The campus includes modern teaching buildings, engineering and scientific laboratories, research centers and convenient study spaces.
