Southern Medical University (SMU) currently has two campuses: the Main campus (Guangzhou) and Shunde Campus (Foshan). International students live in the student Apartment Building 2 (Guangzhou) and the Spring Grass Garden Building 2 (Foshan) of the "Boyah" College on Shunde Campus. The school provides double, triple and quadruple rooms for international students. During the stay, please strictly abide by the relevant accommodation regulations. The university's student dormitories are modern and comfortable, providing excellent living conditions for students. Each dormitory is equipped with air conditioning and internet access, making them convenient for studying and relaxing.
Accommodation fee (1 academic year counted as 10 months):
Double room: RMB 9,000 /person/academic year;
Triple room: RMB 5,000/person/academic year.
The university campus is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, lecture halls, and medical centers that ensure high-quality education. Students also have access to libraries and sports facilities. The student canteen on the main campus of Guangzhou serves a variety of Chinese and Western fast food, as well as Muslim restaurants such as the Northwest Beef Noodle Restaurant on the first floor of the canteen. The Shunde Campus student canteen (Tao Ran Xuan) serves a variety of Chinese and Western fast food, and there is a halal ramen restaurant on the second floor of the canteen.
Southern Medical University has student organizations such as Student Union, GraduateStudent Union, Student Self-discipline and Rights Committee, Youth Volunteer Association, College Student Art Troupe, Military Orchestra, Red Cross Society, and other student organizations covering different categories. International students can join the student organizations and clubs that best suit them according to their interests. University clubs and societies offer students opportunities to actively engage in the cultural and social life of the campus. Events, conferences, and outings are often organized, promoting the development of intercultural communication skills.
