The university has 4 National Key Research Platforms focused on precision machining, network detection, optical manufacturing, and science popularization. In terms of international cooperation, XATU partners with 50+ universities and institutes worldwide and runs over 200 international cooperation and exchange programs. For accommodation, students can choose between a single room at 450 CNY per month or a shared double room at 300 CNY per month, with all first-year students required to live on campus.
